Joshua F. As 1 of just 8, Mr. McMahon now uses his extensive investigative, trial and appellate experience acquired while a leading prosecutor to defend individuals charged in federal, state and municipal courts throughout New Jersey and New York.
While an Assistant Prosecutor, Mr. McMahon successfully tried more major felony jury trials to verdict than any other criminal attorney in Union County, New Jersey, including numerous high-profile victories that have been featured in various newspaper and media outlets, including The Star-Ledger, Associated Press, and CBS 2 News, NBC 4 News, and 7ABC news, amongst other outlets.
To date, not a single one of Mr. McMahon’s major crime’s convictions has ever been reversed by a Higher Court.
During his eight years with the Union County Prosecutor’s Office, Mr. McMahon developed expertise and experience handling a full range of complex criminal litigation including investigations, arrests, bail, plea bargaining, pre-trial motion practice, jury trials, sentencing and appeals. Aside from major violent crimes, including murder, carjacking, and assault, Mr. McMahon has extensive experience with weapons, narcotics and white-collar cases.
